INVOICE AND BANK STATEMENT TO SHEETS
Privacy Policy
A clear account of what the add-on accesses, where it is processed, and the controls you have.
Effective date: November 4, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Invoice and Bank Statement to Sheet (the “add-on,” “we,” or “our”) handles information when you visit this website, import documents, use daily schedules, or contact support. The developer can be reached at appwould.work@gmail.com.
The add-on is an independent product. It is not operated by Google. This website provides product information and help; it does not sign you into Google, accept PDF uploads, or connect to your Drive.
2. Information the add-on accesses
With your authorization, the add-on accesses the following information to carry out your import:
- Source documents: contents of selected PDF invoices or bank statements, or PDFs directly inside a selected folder. These can include names, addresses, supplier details, invoice numbers, tax information, account identifiers, balances, and transactions.
- File information: file and folder IDs, names, source links, paths, creation times, file size, and file type.
- Spreadsheet information: the destination spreadsheet and tab IDs, column names, existing source links, and the rows needed to add results or replace an existing import.
- Preferences and task information: chosen folders, selected fields, skip/replace settings, schedule times, time zones, progress, counts, and limited error details.
- Support information: your email address and anything you choose to include when contacting us.
The add-on does not request Gmail inbox, contacts, or calendar access. Document contents may contain sensitive information; only import records you are authorized to process.
3. How information is used
We use this information to extract the fields you request, write results to the selected spreadsheet, recognize previously imported files, execute schedules you enable, display progress and errors, remember settings, and respond to support requests.
Google permissions support reading source PDFs and folders, creating temporary conversion documents, writing spreadsheet results, making the extraction request, and managing scheduled runs. Background jobs open their saved destination even when you have closed the add-on. Authorized permissions can be broader than the files you choose in a particular import; normal import processing is directed by your selected source and destination.
Choosing not to authorize the necessary Google permissions prevents the corresponding import features from working.
4. Processing and third-party services
Google: The add-on runs through Google Apps Script and uses Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets to read documents and write results. A temporary Google Doc may be created to read a PDF; the add-on attempts to move it to Trash after processing.
DeepSeek: The text read from your PDF, together with extraction instructions and selected content fields, is sent over HTTPS to the DeepSeek API for processing. The response is used to populate your sheet. File metadata fields are obtained directly from Drive rather than requested from the model. Your Google authorization token is not sent to DeepSeek.
DeepSeek is an external processor. Do not assume that sending a document is confined to Google or to your country. Provider-side processing locations, retention, and deletion depend on the applicable API agreement and provider policies. We do not promise zero retention or a provider-wide no-training guarantee based solely on this website. Contact us before importing information that requires a particular contractual protection. See DeepSeek’s published privacy information; the applicable API agreement must also be considered.
Website hosting: The site is prepared for hosting on Vercel. When hosted there, Vercel may process request information such as IP addresses, browser information, and access logs to deliver and secure the site, under its Privacy Policy. The site contains no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, external fonts, or tracking cookies added by us.
Email: Support messages are processed through our email service. Please do not send full bank statements, passwords, access tokens, or unredacted financial documents unless a specific support process has been agreed.
5. Google user data and Limited Use
We use Google user data to carry out the import and scheduling features you request. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, determine creditworthiness from it, or use it ourselves to train general-purpose AI models. Human access is limited to your specific consent for support, necessary security investigations, or legal obligations.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the Google Workspace user data and developer policy. These obligations also apply to transfers to service providers; they are not waived by an import request.
6. Storage and retention
Your PDFs and spreadsheet rows stay in the Google account or shared Drive where you keep them until you delete them under Google’s controls. Imported rows remain after a task is paused or deleted. Re-importing with skipping turned off replaces the selected file’s existing rows, including manual edits.
Settings and tasks are stored in Google Apps Script User Properties for the current user and script. Folder preferences are associated with a spreadsheet, tab, and document type. Scheduled tasks retain their configuration, unfinished progress, and the most recent result, including up to five failed-file details; the next completed result replaces the previous result.
Temporary sessions expire after 24 hours. Old sessions are pruned when a new import starts; expiry does not mean every stored property is immediately erased. Temporary conversion documents are moved to Trash when cleanup succeeds and remain subject to your Google Drive Trash retention; a failed cleanup can leave a temporary document in Drive.
Support correspondence and operational records are retained only as needed to handle the request, maintain security, or satisfy legal obligations. Google and other providers may retain service or security logs under their own terms. Provider copies are not automatically deleted when you delete spreadsheet rows.
7. Your controls and deletion requests
- Pause or delete schedules from Import schedules in the add-on. Pausing stops later batches; an already running file can finish. Deleting a task removes its saved configuration and latest result, not previously imported sheet rows or source PDFs.
- Delete imported results or source files directly in Google Sheets or Drive. Check Drive Trash for temporary documents if necessary.
- Revoke Google access in your Google Account connections. Revocation stops further authorized processing but does not itself remove stored preferences or sheet data.
- Request deletion of remaining app settings, session data, or support information by emailing appwould.work@gmail.com. Identify the Google account and the request without attaching sensitive documents. We may need to verify your identity and arrange deletion while access is available. Provider-held data may require a separate request to that provider.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, and to contact your local data protection authority. Contact us to make a request; mandatory legal obligations may limit deletion.
8. Security and changes
Access to Google services uses Google authorization, and external extraction requests use HTTPS. We seek to restrict processing to the requested functionality. No system can guarantee absolute security. This service is intended for people legally able to authorize processing of their business or personal records, not for use directed at children.
We may update this policy when functionality, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes to data use require appropriate notice and, where required, renewed consent.
